Have you seen Solitary 3.o? It's a game show where contestants compete against each other and ultimately against themselves to outlast a series of psychological and physical experiments. The computerized host, named Val and seen only as [0] on a screen, teases and torments them until they push the red button and leave the game. Whoever lasts the longest wins!

The contestants have no idea what time of day it is. Whenever Val allows them a short rest she'll say "Good morning, afternoon, night." The contestants also are regularly told how good the others in their group are doing - leaving them to question why they're putting themselves through the pains of the competition.

So, why write about this?

Tonight Laura and I finally joined another small group! It was my new year's resolution to find a new group and I am so glad that we have. In a way it was like we had pushed our red button on solitude. We had a wonderful time eating, having fellowship with one another, and then learning and growing with one another in the Word. It was very cool!

Just wanted to keep you updated!
